January 2009 - My main website has been going for some time now and is firmly established as a showcase for some of my work and a bit of a blog about what I've been up to. A small number of pages remain to be fully completed but there are many hundreds of images to browse now.

| I have been taking photographs since I was old enough to hold a camera. My main photographic interests reflect my lifelong interest and concern for all aspects of the natural environment, from astronomical phenomena to landscape and wildlife. But I also enjoy photographing people, especially at events, and have developed a special interest in creating stunning photo-merges that capture unusual viewpoints of otherwise familiar buildings or viewpoints. I have many hobbies and interests but have always had an interest in wildlife, travel and wide open spaces. Photography has been my constant companion in recording some of the places I’ve been and some of the things I’ve seen. I haven’t been to or seen a fraction of the places and things that I would like to have seen and done, but over the past 2 decades I’ve been fortunate to capture some astounding landscape, wildlife and astronomical photos. I’m content with that.
